‘The greatest love story ever told.’

About

Georgia. 1861. A faded Southern belle returns to the family plantation after ten years away. But where has she been? Why did she run? And what secrets are buried in the ol’ greenhouse?

Fantastically melodramatic, at times obscene, and definitely outrageous, Summertime in the Garden of Eden is an epic story of love, betrayal and murder in the spirit of Gone With The Wind.

Sisters Grimm have been happily staining the Melbourne Fringe for years. Now Sydney gets a taste of their biggest hit, which completely sold out its premiere season (in a suburban garage). Funny, chaotic, brilliant – it’s as close as you’ll get to a Christmas panto at Griffin.

Sisters Grimm and Griffin Independent in association with Theatre Works.
